My Story
I originally joined Scentsy because I needed new Fall/Winter scents and there were so many cute things and scents I wanted that I thought…. Maybe I should just join & then I’ll get commission off of myself… and if my mom or other family/friends want to buy, then I’ll sell to them. There was also a really awesome join special during the month I joined.
I had NO intention of marketing myself or TRYING to sell the products.
Scentsy suggests having a “Launch Party” after you join to get your name out there.
I had that party… but I did it because I wanted the host rewards!!!
But then I realized Scentsy has WAYYYY more things to offer than wax & warmers. I realized I was having a lot of fun helping people find things when they would ask me questions. It was during that launch party I realized… “Hey? You can do this!”
The thing I DID NOT anticipate? Finding lifelong friendships within my team. As an introvert, I’ve never been the one to participate in team-like activities & put myself out there. Plus, I’ve never been a fan of uplines telling you what to do. But my team is NOT like that AT ALL. We uplift each other, bounce ideas off one another, share tips and ACTUALLY care about one another.
I also never thought I would go to a Scentsy event…but I did…I went to World Tour. (an event in Feb. in various cities/states to see the upcoming Spring/Summer catalog). What a euphoric experience! I’ve never been in a room full of hundreds of Independent Sales Reps that are genuinely nice & up lifting.
The biggest event Scentsy puts on is Scentsy Family Reunion (SFR) this is in one location and everyone travels to see the upcoming Fall/Winter line along with expo’s, speakers, and activities. I also NEVER thought I would go to something like that without actually knowing anyone. Sure, I knew my teammates from Facebook, but I had never met them in person. But guess who went? Me. There were over 6,000 people at the event & it was MIND BLOWINGLY AWESOME. I stayed in an airbnb with my team and it was in that moment that I realized I had lifelong friends.
Scentsy TRULY IS about being your authentic self and giving more than you take 💜
I thought my impulsive decision to join was going to be something I would give up on after a few months & completely regret…and the only thing I regret is not joining sooner!
